Email signatures
Set up signatures for a connected mailbox, pick the default, and add or swap one while you write an email in Syncek.
An email signature in Syncek belongs to one connected mailbox, and a mailbox can have several. You create them in Settings, then Personal, then Integrations, on the mailbox's Signatures tab. The first one becomes the default, and Add my default signature to new emails, which starts switched on, adds it to every new email you start from that mailbox.
Creating one
Click New signature, give it a title and write it. The editor takes formatting and images. There is no save button: the signature saves as you type, once it has a title.
A signature's menu has Set as default and Delete, which asks first and cannot be undone. A mailbox with signatures always has a default, so deleting the default passes the role to the oldest one left.
Signatures are yours. Only the person who connected the mailbox sees them, and if the mailbox sends from other addresses too, the same signatures and default apply to all of them.
In the composer
Email signature, the pen icon, lists the signatures of the mailbox in From, plus No signature and Manage signatures.
- Picking another signature replaces the one in the email. If you typed inside the old one, your text stays and the new signature goes below it.
- Opening a draft or starting from a template does not add the default.
- Loading a template replaces the whole body, signature included, so pick the signature again afterwards.
- Changing From to another mailbox while a signature is in the email asks whether to keep it.
Connecting a mailbox is covered in Connect Gmail.
