Scheduling email and drafts
Schedule an email to go out later, change or cancel it while it waits, and find the drafts Syncek keeps while you write.
Syncek can send an email you write in it at a time you choose, up to 90 days ahead. Click the arrow beside Send in the composer, pick Tomorrow morning, Tomorrow afternoon, Monday morning or a date and time of your own, and confirm with Schedule send. The email waits in Scheduled, in the Emails area, and goes out on time without you having Syncek open.
Picking the time
Times are shown in your timezone. The morning options mean 8:00 and the afternoon one 13:00, and the earliest you can pick is a minute from now.
The arrow is greyed out while any recipient is not linked to a record. Send can create a missing record and send straight away, but scheduling cannot, so link the recipient first. The checks that run before a normal send, an empty subject or an attachment you mention and forgot, run before scheduling too.
Variables are filled in when you schedule, and again if you edit or reschedule. A change to the record after that does not reach the email. Variables are explained in Email templates.
While it waits
Scheduled lists only the email you scheduled, each with its send time and a countdown. Each row's menu offers Send now, Reschedule and Cancel send. Cancelling moves the email back to Drafts, and you can select several rows to cancel them together.
Click the subject to edit the email. Your changes are kept only when you click Save, and the send time stays as it was: change it with Reschedule.
If a send fails, the row says Failed with the reason. Retry now sends it again, and Reschedule gives it a new time.
Drafts
Syncek saves what you write about a second after you stop typing, and Drafts lists your unsent email. Open one to carry on. Discard draft, the bin icon in the composer, deletes it after asking.
When to send the next message is a question of cadence rather than of Syncek: how often to follow up with a lead.
