Notes
Write a note on a record, find every note in the workspace in one table, and talk it over in comments.
A note in Syncek is a titled piece of rich text attached to one record, such as a call summary on an account. It shows on that record's Notes tab and on the Notes page in the sidebar, and everyone in the workspace can read it. Anyone but a Guest can edit it. Notes hold text only, so a file or an image cannot be added to one.
Writing a note
On a record, open the Notes tab and click New note, or use the note icon at the top of the record page. New note on the Notes page does the same and asks which record the note belongs to.
A new note needs a title, a body and a record. The editor takes headings, lists, checklists, tables, links and @mentions of teammates. Nothing is saved until you click Create note. Load template and Save as template, at the foot of the note, reuse a layout you write often.
One record per note
A note belongs to exactly one record. You can move it to another record when you edit it, but not attach it to two. Adding, editing and deleting a note all show in that record's Activity.
The Notes page
Notes lists every note in the workspace, as a table or as cards, with filters, sorts and a search that looks through titles, bodies and comments. The star favorites a note for the whole workspace, not only for you. Deleting a note asks first, and it cannot be undone.
Comments
A note has its own comments: open them from its card, or with Show comments while you edit it. A record has comments too, on its Comments tab. In both you can reply, react and resolve a thread, and only the author can edit or delete a comment. An @mention names a teammate in the text, and Syncek sends them no notification.
