Glossary
The words Syncek uses for the things you work with, one line each, ordered from the biggest container down to the smallest.
Syncek uses eight words for the things you work with: organization, workspace, member, object, record, attribute, list and view. They run from the biggest container down to the smallest, so reading them in that order gives you the whole data model in one pass.
The words
- Organization. Your company's account, holding your workspaces and people.
- Workspace. One team's space inside the organization.
- Member. A person with access to a workspace or to the organization. See Roles and permissions.
- Object. A kind of thing you track, like Contacts or Accounts. See Objects and records.
- Record. One entry of an object. A customer is a record of Accounts.
- Attribute. A field on a record: a name, a type and a value. See Attributes.
- List. A saved subset of one object's records. See Lists.
- View. A saved way of looking at an object, as a table or as a board. See Saved views.
How these fit together is in How Syncek organizes your data.
