Seeing who else is working
See which teammates are on the same object as you, which cell each one is on, and what they are typing, in tables, boards, record pages and notes.
Syncek shows who else is working in the same place as you, as it happens. When teammates have the same object open, in a table, on a board or on one of its record pages, their avatars appear at the top of the page. When you are both on the same table view, the cell a teammate has selected carries their color and name, and while they edit it you see what they type before they save. It needs no setup.
At the top of the page
The avatars at the top right are everyone else on that object right now, in any of its views or on any of its record pages. Hover a face to see the name. Four faces show, and the rest are counted as +N. You never appear in your own list, and on a small screen the faces become a number of viewers.
The Notes page shows the same avatars for the people on it.
In a table
Teammates on the same view as you show up cell by cell. Teammates on other views of the object are in the avatars, not in the cells.
- The cell a teammate has selected gets an outline in their color and a tag with their name. A teammate has the same color on every screen.
- While they edit, the tag shows a pencil and the cell shows what they type, before it is saved.
- When several people are on one cell, the tag reads one name and +N. Hover it to see them all.
- Your own session in another browser tab or on another device shows as You, in gray.
A change a teammate saves reaches your table without a reload. When they are on your view, the cell briefly takes their color.
Boards, previews and editors
- On a board, a record's card carries the mark of anyone on that record, whether they are in a view or on its record page.
- Hover a record's name in a table and the preview card shows who is on that record.
- When you edit a note or an email template, a line at the top tells you if someone else is editing it at the same time.
Who shows up
Everyone in the workspace, Guests included. A browser tab left in the background still counts, and leaving the page or closing the tab takes you out.
