Syncek vs Freshsales

A focused CRM, not a sales suite around the suite.

Freshsales sits inside Freshworks alongside Freshdesk and Freshservice. It's a competent sales CRM with AI features and a marketplace, aimed at mid-market sales teams who can also use the rest of the Freshworks stack.

Side-by-side comparison

How they differ

How Freshsales and Syncek actually differ.

Ten lenses for picking the right shape of CRM.

Product shape

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Sales CRM inside the Freshworks suite — value compounds when Freshmarketer, Freshdesk, Freshchat and Freshservice are also adopted on the Neo platform.

Syncek

Focused standalone CRM — contacts, deals, pipelines and notes. No bundled marketing, support or chat product to adopt alongside it.

Target team

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Mid-market sales orgs with dedicated reps, managers and sales-ops, especially shops already running other Freshworks products.

Syncek

Small businesses with 1–50 people who need a real CRM without standing up a sales-ops function or a suite rollout.

Time to first useful day

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Days to weeks. The Free (Sprout) tier opens fast; getting Freddy AI, sequences and Freshsales Suite features dialled in usually involves admin time.

Syncek

Minutes. Drop a CSV, map columns, start. No admin, no consultant, no onboarding fee.

Customization model

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Powerful and tier-gated. Custom modules, advanced workflows and multiple pipelines unlock on Pro and Enterprise; lower tiers cap fields, sequences and reports.

Syncek

20+ typed fields, custom pipelines and saved views on every paid tier — not a premium add-on.

Pricing model

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Per-seat across Growth, Pro and Enterprise, with a Free (Sprout) entry tier. Freshsales Suite bundles Freshmarketer; Freddy AI Copilot and Agent sit as add-ons. Annual commitment for headline prices.

Syncek

Flat per-user per-month, monthly or annual. Three tiers, no AI add-on, no bundle-and-unbundle pricing dance.

AI features

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Freddy AI is the headline — lead and deal scoring, predictive contact, email summaries, next-best-action — gated to higher tiers and the Freddy add-on.

Syncek

AI is not part of the core CRM. Pair Syncek with the AI tools you already pay for; pipeline and contact data export cleanly anywhere.

Inline editing

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Records open as full-screen forms; some list-view editing exists, but the spreadsheet metaphor isn't the design centre.

Syncek

Spreadsheet-familiar inline editing across every view. Click a cell, type, move on — same muscle memory as a sheet.

Spanish UX

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Spanish UI is supported; docs, community and support patterns are anchored in Freshworks' global English-first model.

Syncek

EN and ES are first-class from day one — product, marketing site, docs and support all bilingual.

Data ownership

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Export from Admin Settings → Account → Export data or via the Freshsales API. Workflows, Sales Sequences, Freddy scoring models and Freshmarketer journeys stay behind.

Syncek

Export anything to CSV or JSON anytime, including after cancellation. No retention games.

Best at

Freshsales logoFreshsales

Running a mid-market sales motion that plugs into Freshdesk tickets, Freshchat conversations and Freshmarketer journeys on a single Freshworks identity.

Syncek

Running the daily CRM job — pipeline, contacts, deals — without committing to a wider suite.

Migration path

Moving from Freshsales to Syncek.

Four steps, usually a single afternoon for under ~5,000 records. The hardest part is deciding what to leave behind.

  1. Export from Freshsales

Export Contacts, Accounts and Deals as CSV from Admin Settings → Account → Export data, or pull them via the Freshsales API. Workflows, Sales Sequences, Freddy AI scoring and predictions, Freshmarketer journeys and Freshchat conversations do not export — that is the boundary of the migration.

  2. Map fields to Syncek

Syncek's import wizard previews each column and lets you pick the field type (phone, email, currency, stage, relation). Freshsales custom fields map cleanly to typed fields in Syncek; dropdowns become select fields and lookups become relations.

  3. Rebuild the pipeline

Freshsales Deal stages become Syncek pipeline stages — same names, same order. Probabilities and rotting rules are optional. Saved filters and views replace Freshsales dashboards; recreate the three or four you actually use and skip the rest.

  4. Decide what to retire

Freddy AI scoring, Sales Sequences and Freshmarketer journeys don't come along. Most small teams retire them on purpose; if you depend on them, keep Freshsales Suite for that motion and pair it with Syncek only if you split out the CRM job — or stay on Freshsales.

Common questions

Syncek vs Freshsales — common questions.

  • Can I migrate my Freshsales data into Syncek?
Yes. Export Contacts, Accounts and Deals as CSV from Admin Settings → Account → Export data, or pull them via the Freshsales API. Import into Syncek with the visual mapper — custom fields map to typed fields, dropdowns become selects, lookups become relations. Workflows, Sales Sequences, Freddy AI scoring models and Freshmarketer journeys do not migrate, because they live inside the Freshworks Neo platform.
  • Will I lose Freddy AI features?
Yes. Lead and deal scoring, predictive contact, email summaries and next-best-action live inside Freshsales and the Freddy AI add-on. Syncek is a focused CRM and does not ship a built-in AI layer — pair Syncek with the AI tools you already pay for, or stay on Freshsales Suite if Freddy is load-bearing for your motion.
  • Is Syncek cheaper than Freshsales for a small team?
For a 5-person team that only needs a CRM, Syncek is materially cheaper than Freshsales Pro — the tier most small teams end up on once they outgrow Sprout (Free) and Growth. The fair head-to-head is Freshsales Growth vs Syncek Growth; check the live numbers on each product's pricing page, because Freshworks updates tiers, Suite bundles and Freddy add-on pricing frequently.
  • Does Syncek replace the full Freshworks suite?
No. Freshdesk (support), Freshchat (messaging), Freshservice (IT) and Freshmarketer (marketing automation) all sit outside Syncek's scope. Syncek is the CRM — it pairs with whatever support, helpdesk and chat tools you already use, instead of pulling you into a single-vendor suite on the Neo platform.
  • Can I run Freshsales and Syncek side by side during transition?
Yes, and most teams do. Keep Freshsales read-only for historical sequences and Freddy scoring, do new pipeline work in Syncek, and retire Freshsales when the team agrees the CRM job is fully covered. Export anytime — Syncek doesn't lock data in.
When to choose them

When Freshsales still makes sense.

If you already run other Freshworks products and want a CRM that pipes into the same identity and ticketing flow, or you're a mid-market sales team with sales-ops practices Freshsales is shaped around — stay put. Syncek is the right call when the suite isn't already there.
