# Syncek: Complete Reference > Syncek is a CRM for small businesses that combines spreadsheet-like inline editing with structured fields, Kanban pipelines, two-way Gmail sync, and team collaboration. It ships as a single product, Syncek One. > > STATUS: Syncek is in EARLY ACCESS and has not launched publicly. Plans and prices below are final, but access is by waitlist only. The 15-day trial starts when your invite arrives, not today. --- ## Product Overview Syncek is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform that turns spreadsheets into structured databases with real pipeline management. It is designed for small businesses who have outgrown their spreadsheet but do not need enterprise-grade complexity. ### Core Value Proposition Small businesses typically manage clients in Google Sheets or Excel until the data becomes unmanageable: version conflicts, lost updates, no pipeline visibility, and no activity log. Traditional CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) solve these problems but require days to weeks of setup and configuration that small teams cannot afford. Syncek bridges this gap: spreadsheet-like inline editing speed with structured database fields, Kanban pipeline management, and team collaboration. Importing your spreadsheet takes about five minutes for a typical file, and most teams are working the same afternoon. ### Key Differentiators - **Spreadsheet-like editing**: Double-click any cell to edit inline. No page reloads, no modal forms. - **20+ structured field types**: Phone (with country code), email, date, select, currency, address, relation, stage, and more. - **Two-way Gmail sync**: Connect Gmail and every message files itself against the right customer, in both directions. No forwarding, no BCC address. - **Kanban pipeline**: Drag opportunities between stages. See every opportunity at a glance. - **Record detail pages**: Every contact has a full profile with notes, activity log, and linked records. - **Saved views**: Filter, sort, and save custom views per table. Share with your team. - **CSV import**: Drop a file, map columns visually, import thousands of rows in seconds. Undo if needed. - **Team collaboration**: Workspaces, teams, role-based permissions. Add people without rebuilding the system. - **GDPR-compliant**: The Art. 28 data processing agreement is part of the Terms on every plan, accepted click-through; a counter-signed PDF is available on request. --- ## Features ### Data Table A structured table that feels like a spreadsheet. 20+ field types enforce data quality without slowing you down. Double-click any cell to edit inline with context-aware inputs per field type (dropdowns for selects, date pickers for dates, phone inputs with country code). ### Kanban Pipeline Drag opportunities between customizable stages. Keyboard shortcuts for power users. Real-time updates across team members. See opportunity values per stage, track conversion rates, and identify bottleneck stages. ### Record Detail Pages Every contact, opportunity, or entity has a full-page view with all fields, notes, activity timeline, and linked records from other tables. Everything about a client in one place. ### Customization Add, rename, or remove fields and pipeline stages anytime. No support ticket, no waiting. Create multiple tables for different entity types (Contacts, Opportunities, Accounts, Projects). Pre-built templates get you started in minutes. ### Import & Export Drop a CSV or Excel file, map your columns visually, preview the result, and import. Takes about five minutes for most files. You can undo the import if something looks wrong. Export everything to CSV or Excel at any time, including after you cancel. --- ## Key Facts - **Category:** CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software - **Target audience:** Small businesses - **Pricing:** Starter (USD 29 per seat/mo, USD 23 per seat/mo billed yearly), Pro (USD 49 per seat/mo, USD 39 per seat/mo billed yearly), Business (USD 89 per seat/mo, USD 71 per seat/mo billed yearly), Enterprise (quoted, billed yearly). Full access to the Business plan for 15 days, so you try the REST API, the long history and every Pro feature before you choose. After that, pick a plan or export your data. No lock-in. **Q: Is Syncek free to use?** A: No. Every plan is paid per user. What is free is the 15-day trial of Business: full access, no card, and at the end you pick a plan or export your data. **Q: Can my team actually use this without training?** A: If they can use a spreadsheet, they can use Syncek. Pre-built templates and inline editing mean your team is productive from day one, not after a week of onboarding. **Q: Can I import from my current spreadsheet?** A: Yes. Drop a CSV, map your columns visually, preview the result, and import. Takes about five minutes for most files. You can undo the import if something looks wrong. **Q: What happens to my data if I cancel?** A: Export everything to CSV or Excel at any time, including after you cancel. Your data is yours, and nothing is held back. **Q: Where is my data stored?** A: Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. A GDPR data processing agreement is part of the Terms on every plan; a counter-signed PDF is available on request. **Q: Which plan is right for me?** A: Starter is the whole CRM: every record type, every view, Gmail sync and imports, for a team putting one in place. Pro is where the work speeds up: the inbox creates contacts and deals for you, templates and open tracking arrive, roles arrive, and the history goes back a year. Business is for the team that has to answer to somebody: the REST API, the DPA, an uptime SLA and three years of history. Enterprise takes the limits off. The trial gives you Business, so the honest way to choose is to use it and see which rung you would miss. **Q: How long before my team is using it?** A: The same afternoon, in most cases. Drop a CSV, map your columns, check the preview and import: about five minutes for a typical file. Nothing has to be configured before the workspace is useful, so there is no implementation project and no consultant. Pro adds a setup call, and from Business we set the workspace up with you. **Q: Can I move over from the CRM I'm using now?** A: Yes. Export your contacts, companies and deals from your current tool as CSV, map the columns onto your fields, and import. HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Salesforce all export CSV, so the route is the same whichever one you are leaving. Check the preview before you commit, and if it lands wrong, undo the whole import in one click. **Q: Do you offer discounts?** A: Yearly billing takes 20% off every priced plan, which is the same discount for a three-person team and a twenty-five-person one. There is no negotiated rate you have to ask for. **Q: Do you have monthly and yearly billing options?** A: Both, on every published plan. Monthly bills every month and you can stop at any time. Yearly bills once, at 20% off the twelve monthly payments. The switch above the plans shows either price. Enterprise bills yearly. **Q: Can I change plans later?** A: Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from account settings. Adding a person adds one seat from that day, and removing one stops charging for it. There is no cap to run into and no plan jump forced on you by a single hire. **Q: Do I need to connect my email?** A: No. Syncek works without it. Connecting Gmail syncs your inbox both ways so messages land on the record they belong to, and you can disconnect it again from settings. **Q: Does Syncek have an API?** A: Yes. Business and above include a REST API over the same endpoints the app itself uses. Below that you move data in and out with CSV and Excel import and export. **Q: Can I customize fields and pipeline stages?** A: Yes. Add, rename, or remove fields and stages anytime. No support ticket, no waiting. If your workflow changes, Syncek changes with it. --- ## Guides ### [Get started](https://syncek.com/docs/get-started) Sign up, name your workspace, and learn the words before anything else. - [Welcome to Syncek](https://syncek.com/docs/get-started/welcome): What Syncek is, and the first page to read depending on what you came here to do. - [Quickstart](https://syncek.com/docs/get-started/quickstart): An empty Syncek workspace to a working pipeline, your data in, and your team invited, in about twenty minutes. - [Glossary](https://syncek.com/docs/get-started/glossary): The words Syncek uses for the things you work with, one line each, ordered from the biggest container down to the smallest. - [Common questions](https://syncek.com/docs/get-started/common-questions): The questions people ask in their first week with Syncek, each answered in one line. ### [Core concepts](https://syncek.com/docs/core-concepts) Objects, records and attributes, and the way they fit together. - [How Syncek organizes your data](https://syncek.com/docs/core-concepts/data-model): Organization, workspace, object, record and attribute, and how they nest. - [Objects and records](https://syncek.com/docs/core-concepts/objects-and-records): The four objects Syncek ships with, what each one is for, and how to add an object of your own. - [Attributes](https://syncek.com/docs/core-concepts/attributes): Attributes are the fields on a record. The founder spent years inside tech companies and Big Four consulting, on the engineering side and in front of the customer: leading teams, running engagements out of client offices, and presenting results to the people paying for them. The same pattern showed up everywhere. Client and opportunity data lived in spreadsheets that had grown past what a spreadsheet can hold, and it broke the same way every time: lost updates, duplicate entries, conflicting versions, and formulas nobody remembered writing. CRM tools were tried and abandoned, because they wanted weeks of setup before the team could do the one thing it actually needed, which was to track an opportunity without losing it. Syncek is the tool those teams wished existed: fast as a spreadsheet, structured as a database, ready in minutes. --- ## Contact - [Contact Page](https://syncek.com/contact): Get in touch with the Syncek team - General: hello@syncek.com - Support: support@syncek.com - Privacy: hello@syncek.com ## Social - [Twitter/X](https://x.com/syncekhq): Product news and build-in-public updates - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/syncek): Syncek company page - [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@syncek): Product demos and tutorials - [GitHub](https://github.com/syncekhq): Engineering presence ## Legal - [Legal center](https://syncek.com/legal): Index of all legal documents - [Terms of Service](https://syncek.com/legal/terms): The agreement that governs your access to and use of Syncek. - [Acceptable Use](https://syncek.com/legal/acceptable-use): What you can and can't do with Syncek, and how we handle abuse. - [Privacy Policy](https://syncek.com/legal/privacy): How we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. - [Cookie Policy](https://syncek.com/legal/cookies): How we use cookies and similar technologies across syncek.com and the app. - [Data Processing Addendum](https://syncek.com/legal/dpa): The GDPR Art. 28 agreement that governs how Syncek processes personal data on your behalf. - [Sub-processors](https://syncek.com/legal/subprocessors): The third parties Syncek engages to help provide the Service. - [Security](https://syncek.com/legal/security): Encryption, access control, backups, incident response, and responsible disclosure. - [API Terms](https://syncek.com/legal/api-terms): What the public Content API costs, allows, and does not promise. - [Legal Notice](https://syncek.com/legal/legal-notice): Company-identification information for Syncek. --- ## Blog - [What to write down after a client call: five lines](https://syncek.com/blog/what-to-write-down-after-a-client-call): What to write down after a client call: five lines, written inside ten minutes, and where each one goes so the next step ends up with a date on it. - [Qualify before you quote: six answers, one decision](https://syncek.com/blog/qualify-before-you-quote): The six answers to get on the first call before you write a proposal, the question to ask for each, and the rule that decides if the proposal gets written. - [Pipedrive vs Zendesk Sell: the comparison changed in 2025](https://syncek.com/compare/pipedrive-vs-zendesk-sell): Comparing Pipedrive and Zendesk Sell in 2026 is not a comparison of two products you can commit to.
