## Setting things up

**Where do I add a field Syncek does not have?**
On the object, in **Settings, then Data, then Objects**. See

**Can I change an attribute's type later?**
No. Create one of the right type and move the values across. See
[Attributes](/core-concepts/attributes).

**Do I need more than one workspace?**
Almost certainly not. One holds your whole team's data, and everyone still gets
their own views of it.

## Working with your data

**What is the difference between a list and a view?**
A view is a rule, a list is a decision. See [Lists](/your-data/lists).

**What happens if I import the same file twice?**
That depends on the insert mode and matching attribute you pick. See
[Importing data](/your-data/importing).

**Can I get my data back out?**
Yes, as `CSV` or `Excel`. See [Exporting data](/your-data/exporting).

## Your team and your inbox

**Can my teammates see the views I make?**
Only the ones you mark Shared. See [Saved views](/views/saved-views).

**Does connecting Gmail send email on my behalf?**

**Someone left the company. What do I do?**
Suspend or remove them in **Settings, then Workspace, then Members**. Their
records, notes and email stay in the workspace.
